Lolly is a friendly, affectionate girl but is quite shy. She is very nervous around men but is getting braver every day. Once she knows you she loves to cuddle and have tummy rubs. Lolly has come to us from Portugal via the pound so we don’t know much about her. She is roughly the size of a Labrador. She seems to be hit and miss with other dogs and we are unsure how she’d be around cats. We will home her with older children.
Why is Lolly still here with at the shelter?! She has been with us since February! She is the sweetest girl, if she had it her way, she would lay in bed all day having her tummy rubbed and eating endless biscuits, hence Lolly is currently on a diet recently as her puppy dog eyes get her exactly what she wants. She loves to cuddle and be in the company of people she trusts. She would need a household where she isn’t left much as she does suffer with separation anxiety. Lolly walks on a harness and is always on a mission to finish her walk so she can get back to her bed, she will need some further training to help her learn to enjoy her walks and slow down. Lolly would benefit with owners with time, patience and lots of love to give to her. She would be best suited as an only pet but does take exception to a select few dogs. With Lolly being very shy and nervous on first meeting she would be best suited with older children that understand that she can be scared. Lolly is 6 years young and finally needs a loving forever home, she would make a very loyal, affection pet.
