Bella is settling in well. Having jumped onto the sofa for a snooze as soon as she arrived in her new home, she has since tried just about every chair in the house, including some that are really not designed for such a large dog! The sofa remains her favourite, although she also likes the armchair by the living room window where she can stand sentry and bark at any strangers who have the audacity to walk past her front gate. She is enjoying her walks, and with a bit of training now behaves far better when she encounters other dogs. We love having her and can’t believe how quickly she’s established herself as part of the family. Her looks, friendly welcome and affectionate personality have endeared her to everyone who has met her. She’s enjoying lots of fuss, leaning on everybody and eating well (including one or two things that weren’t intended for her). Her coat is becoming more shiny by the day and her ribs are less conspicuous now. There are still one or two issues to address, nevertheless Bella is a real joy to have around.
