Hi alI hope you and the pooches and cats are all well.
Overall she’s been settled, enjoying her walks and has enjoyed visiting her grandparents. Now and then she can mid journey in the car get a bit pant, no rhyme or reason really. Eating well and seems settled.
Her beach day was a hit too…. :0), she travelled fine for this journey! Even visited Lincoln Uni to pick up Freddie.
We did start a little transition yesterday as she has been so, settled. To begin preparation for her Tuesday time alone. We’ve only done this when were pottering around the house by preventing her following us everywhere. This did not go so, well. Unfortunately, a tad vocal ,(well more a scream!) ragging doors with no giving up. All just ignored as we come and go around the house.
I’ve arranged work from home for the next two weeks, and a dog walker is in place for the 4th onwards. So, fingers crossed she’ll adjust.
I’m wondering if the volunteer experienced this vocalising , when she had her over Christnas? I know she chewed the carpet a little.
Will keep you posted, and we’re both very committed to making it work, it’s really if Scampi can accept time alone without getting in a pickle/stressed.
The additional steroids arrived today, some were a bit broken so, I’ll discard those ones.
We love her.
Photos to come soon, unfortunately the beach ones are naff! It was empty so, we were able to use a long line :0).
