Just letting you know how Cherry’s first weekend has gone. We are even more smitten.

Took a lot of visits to the garden and praise, but toileting is now happening in the garden. Clever girl. Have to put her coat on – too chilly to wee without!! Am sure there will be mishaps.

The cats are still very wary and Cherry would love to meet them close up! They come into the room when she’s asleep and take a peak; otherwise they spy on her from the stairs.

Biggest welcome surprise is how much Cherry enjoys playing with toys; squeaky ones are the favourite (RIP two already) and she loves to play fetch with squeaky toys. She had her first proper zoomies yesterday.

Other surprise is how she can jump – on to the sofa at some speed.

She is a pleasure to walk.

Vet is very happy with her (absolute credit to you for building her up) – keyhole spay is happening Wednesday.

She’s slept through both nights. Fingers crossed that will continue.
