Hello Everyone,
We wanted to give you an update on Shanna after a week + with us. I know some of you were concerned that she wasn’t going to settle.
This was the first evening at home with us.
She prefers our sofas to the bed we provided – THAT just gets chewed and ‘abused’ (due to her season)
We hired an enclosed paddock for her to have a good run in, but she was more interested in a new toy
She has a role as an office dog, which she works very hard at
And will do anything for a treat (those ears! <3 )
I hope you can see how very much she is loved. There are still issues on walks with reactions to cars and other dogs, but once her season is over we are going to get some training classes booked. We had some visitors to the house, who she welcomed very nicely and ended up sitting with them on the sofa. She has been beautifully house trained at some point and responds really well to simple commands at home. Although she really doesn’t see the point of giving a paw. She will sit and chew a toy under the dining table when we are eating now v putting her feet on the table as at first.
She really is a fantastic dog and has a huge amount of love to give. Thank you for bringing us together.
