2023-06-27T21:29:52+01:00

Hi, We adopted Salem previously know as Carter last summer and I wanted to let you know how he is doing. Not long after he arrived with us he had a allergic reaction to frontline and had to wear a cone he was not happy about this at all, I thought he looked sweet he didn't agree.. Apart from this Salem settled into family life really well with us at home. He has such a comical character he is honestly so funny, I think he thinks he is human at times, he gets into absolutely everything everytime a door is opened he is there attempting to climb in!! the fridge is one of his favourite places to try to get into!!! Salem is such a playful boy and has favourite toys one of them being a ratty old santa but

Jason

2023-06-27T21:23:28+01:00

Hello, We just wanted to give you an update on Jason who came into your care last winter of 2022. We adopted him in April 2022 and it has been the most amazing year with him. Jason is the best dog, he is fear-sly independent but also loyal, loving and very smart. Jason loves cheese and he loves walks and hanging out with his friend at doggy day care, especially Buster, Doris, Peppa and Tony! Most of all Jason loves to snooze anywhere, next to any human or in the living room window where he can be nosey, he has a bed in every room in the house and also sleeps in everyone's bed, he just decides on the night! Unfortunately Jason's best friend and brother Gibby passed away from cancer in July last year but because Jason loves having

Mossy (Formerly Flossy)

2023-06-14T21:50:04+01:00

Hi there We thought we would just share a few photos of how Moss (formerly Flossy) is progressing.  When we got him home, he lived under the bath for the first 5 days but a month on, he is growing in confidence every day.  Still very wary of strangers (and sometimes us) but no more hissing and growling!  He’s very content. We love him! Liz & Mat

She has learnt her recall at the park and is very well behaved except if there’s a bird to chase. She is very clever and has learn lots of tricks she can sit, paw, roll over, spin, jump through a hoop and over my arm if I'm kneeling down and she can also jump on my back. We’ve got her on the list for dog agility classes so when she’s old enough she can participate as she always jumping up on something. Otherwise she is so cuddly and loves laying on the sofa and getting as much attention as she can get. All of

Patch

2023-06-14T21:36:55+01:00

Hello to all ... we are so happy to have Patch in our family. He has settled in very well - he is a bright dog and is quick to learn ... I do think his behaviour is 'naughty child's ' and needs to learn how to be a dog ....  his behaviour inside home is very good. Walking on his lead is getting better. No idea how to play with a dog ... he resorts to running in circles barking until they surrender so avoiding off lead with others at the moment... he is good when on his own. Comes back and won't go too far ... Early days but I am sure he will get there quite quickly With thanks Jackie and Andy
