Ratboy (Formerly Rhatu) & Rosie

2023-04-06T12:15:24+01:00

Hi friends at Leicester animal rescue quick update on rat boy and Rosie. After a rocky few weeks we are all now best of friends, rat boy was very upset with mum when he had all his teeth taken out but now the swelling has gone down a bit he's back to the morning cuddles. I think it's safe to say he loves his new home and has all the treats and toys a boy can ask for Much love Rosie, Ratboy & mum

Murkah (Formerly Jackie)

2023-04-06T12:10:24+01:00

Hello everyone Just to let you know that Jackie the cat who is now known as Murkah, has settled in. At first she was very shy and hid under a cupboard and refused to come out for a couple of hours even for some Dreamies. When she finally decided to show herself she became more confident wanting her ears scratched and is bouncing around, exploring the house, getting up to no good (typical Tortie) and following me everywhere I go like a dog that I have to be careful I don’t trip over her. She has found her favourite spots which are a warm radiator by the large front window so she can watch the world go by or have a flop or be curled up in the little chair by the window so she can occasionally lift her head

Jack (Ginger’s puppy)

2023-04-06T11:54:27+01:00

Hi All, just an update on Jacks progress. Jack has settled in really well. He had his second vaccination yesterday and slept through last night from 10 to 5.30 this morning and then he asked to go out for a wee. Toilet wise (pooing) he has always asked to go out, so no accidents on that front yet. Wees outside also although we do have a training mat just in case which he will use. He’s eating well and was weighed at the vets yesterday 4kg. Will walk into his crate and sleep as and when he needs a nap. I know it’s early days but he is real star. I hope his brothers and sister are all doing well. Have walked him around the block in my coat to get him use to noises, etc. Can’t wait to get

Dear Leicester Animal Rescue, Just wanted to let you know that Carlo (now named Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch) he was of course curious of his surroundings at first and was shy but has really come out of his shell recently and seems really happy to be here. I love him so much already and glad he has joined the family. Here are a few pictures of him in his new home! Michaela

Toys, walkies and learning new ways to eat his food with Kong toys. Got caught out with how tall he is.  We have worked out cuddly toys are a great distraction if he looks at his leg ready to attack it. He is settling in brilliantly, we definitely made the right decision.
