Hi Sorry it has taken me a while to send you some news on Melinda (now renamed Simba). I couldn't find your email address!! Anyway, she has settled in very well from the first day really. She absolutely LOVES her food (its hard to resist her beautiful little face telling us how hungry she is when she has only just eaten a plateful!), enjoys a play (particularly if it means she can scratch the carpet...its play really!) and likes to go outside , but really just enjoys our company wherever that may be. She has just had her second leukaemia jab so is hopefully fully protected now. Thank you for letting us have her, we hope she will be really happy here, so far so good. Best wishes LInda
Hi All, I just wanted to let you know.. Scoob did very well on his first day. It must be very confusing for him, but he managed to settle very quickly and we didn't have a peep out of him all night. I still slept with one eye open to make sure he was ok. He has eaten well and the stress and changes has not affected his appetite. He's got a bed in the living room and one in the adult bedroom, so he can choose where he settles and has plenty of comforts of his very own. I know you will all be missing him. So wanted you to have an update fairly soon. I'll send you some more over the next few weeks. Kind Regards, Vikki
I am the lucky one who got to rehome Chilli and Tiggy (previously Tigz) on January 2nd. They have bought me more joy than I ever could have imagined and have changed my life forever. Chilli is my little shadow and has such a playful nature, and Tiggy is a sleepyhead who will meow until I pick her up for a big snuggle. I am sooo grateful for their previous owners for raising such great girls and also to LAR for bringing us together. A thank you won't ever be enough. Josie.
Hi, We thought we would send a few pictures of Tommy, who was previously called Nima, for you to see how he is getting on
Good Afternoon, Please see attached videos & pictures of how Storm has settled in. She’s fantastic! We have a dog behaviourist visiting us tomorrow afternoon. We’ll send further updates when we have made some progress!! Thanks Gayle & Chris
Hello Everyone, We wanted to give you an update on Shanna after a week + with us. I know some of you were concerned that she wasn't going to settle. This was the first evening at home with us. She prefers our sofas to the bed we provided - THAT just gets chewed and 'abused' (due to her season) We hired an enclosed paddock for her to have a good run in, but she was more interested in a new toy She has a role as an office dog, which she works very hard at And will do anything for a treat (those ears! <3 ) I hope you can see how very much she is loved. There are still issues on walks with reactions to cars and other dogs, but once her season is over we are going to get
Happy New Year Thought you may like a quick Cherry update. Cherry is doing really well and we can’t imagine life without her! She loves snuggles, walks, cardboard boxes and squeaky balls. She’s also a regular unofficial attendee at my daughter’s Teams meetings for work. We’re still socialising her with new situations, people, animals etc. There has been the most progress with the cats; although we’re not ready to have unsupervised access. They are just beginning to spend time in the same room as each other (prompted by the cats). Wishing you all the best, Jill
Hello Patch here, Just wanted to let you know I'm really settling into my new home. I have a big garden that I love doing zoomies around making everybody laugh. I have lots of sofas I get to have cuddles on all day, I also have a big double bed I get to sleep in every night which keeps me nice and toasty. I even got a visit from Santa and loved opening my presents. Thank you for looking after me for my time in the kennels I'm so lucky you gave me the chance to go to my new home. Lots of kisses Patch x
Just wanted to update you on how Daisy, one of Minya's kittens, is getting on. She was 1 year old yesterday, she is definitely a naughty tortie ? but so loved, can't believe she is 1 year old .... I still think she needs to grow into that tail. She races around the garden and loves the rain.... she keeps her big sister, Fleur, on her toes .... they love each other, most of the time ! Thank you for allowing me to give her a forever home ?❤? Cathy
