Dottie (Formerly Myrtle)

2022-02-22T09:15:00+00:00

Hello, Here is Dottie in her favourite spot - the bed! She is just about to bury her bone under my pillow. She has settled into life in our house so quickly, it's like she has always lived here. She's won the cats over and is happy to let them rule the roost. She loves her food and will do anything for a treat. She likes to be warm and cosy and doesn't like walking unless the weather is nice! She loves to explore the garden and is growing in confidence every day, she goes outside on her own now which would've been unheard of a month ago. She had her dental surgery last week and her breath is lots better! We feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you for taking such good care of her at the shelter.

Luna (Formerly Sheba)

2022-02-22T09:12:25+00:00

Good morningJust a quick message to let you know how she has settled in with us.She is very confident, energetic and incredibly loving. She has certainly filled the furry gap our old cat had left. We all chuckle constantly at her kitten antics! She has a favourite ball which she will chase endlessly and a ball on a string which she will bring to you when she wants to play! The Christmas tree has now been taken down as she loved to launch herself into its branches! She loves sitting in the window watching the birds flying past and sometimes it’s very exciting when another cat is in the garden. Thankfully she has her second vaccination next Tuesday and obviously is due to be spayed next Friday, then she will be able to get out and about to investigate and burn

Willow & Olive (Melinda’s kittens)

2022-02-01T09:53:20+00:00

Hi, We have had our 2 beautiful girls for nearly a week now and they have very much settled in at home.  ? They are both developing their own characteristics; Willow is doing so well despite only being able to use 3 legs and has Olive looking out for her. We love them so very much and can’t imagine life without them. Merry Christmas, Suzanne, Willow and Olive xx

Cherry (Formerly Dixie)

2022-02-01T09:41:27+00:00

Just letting you know how Cherry’s first weekend has gone. We are even more smitten. Took a lot of visits to the garden and praise, but toileting is now happening in the garden. Clever girl. Have to put her coat on - too chilly to wee without!! Am sure there will be mishaps. The cats are still very wary and Cherry would love to meet them close up! They come into the room when she’s asleep and take a peak; otherwise they spy on her from the stairs. Biggest welcome surprise is how much Cherry enjoys playing with toys; squeaky ones are the favourite (RIP two already) and she loves to play fetch with squeaky toys. She had her first proper zoomies yesterday. Other surprise is how she can jump - on to the sofa at some speed. She is a pleasure to

Nugget (Peggy’s Kitten)

2022-02-01T09:38:13+00:00

Hiya, Photos of Nugget in his office drawer. Nugget is a whole handful of kitten and a real cuddly boy. He has got on very well with his brother Mr Pickles. However Mr. P. is teaching him about mice and birds by bringing in victims to be chased about the house. The brothers were found sleeping together yesterday and Nugget loved the snow. I hope you are all well and happy. Many thanks Sarah, Mr Pickles and Nugget
