Rummy & Stevie (Formerly Spook & Boo)

Thought you might like an update on the twins! They are absolutely brilliant and so funny and gorgeous. Their neutering went well as you probably know, they were still full of beans afterwards! They do have new names - Spook (smaller) is now Rummy. (I am from Lincolnshire and “rum” is a word used affectionately to describe someone who is cheeky and a bit of a one off). Boo is now Stevie (called Stephen when he’s naughty). Attached are more pics. Jo and family x

Reggie

2025-02-27T15:34:53+00:00

Hi Just to let you know that Reggie has settled in really well! He soon made himself at home and within a few days he was climbing the lounge curtains! As soon as my Yorkshire Terrier, Belle, saw him she started spinning around and was so pleased to meet him! They bonded very quickly and play so gently together - they already sleep together at night! Rescue Reggie is very loved and a welcome addition in our home. Siobhan & Isla

Milo

2025-02-27T15:30:57+00:00

Milo has really come out of his shell since leaving the shelter! Although he is scared he's extremely playful, especially during the night and keeps my other half up some nights! But he is loved by everyone here regardless! He's very affectionate, especially with me! He deserves a happy life and we shall give him the best life we can!

Spook & Boo

2025-02-27T15:15:11+00:00

Hi all, Well we’ve only had the kits for 2 hours but they are already so at home! They were a bit reserved for about half an hour but have since explored everywhere together (including the kitchen table, up the heated clothes airer, under every bed and inside wardrobes). They are chasing each other and wrestling, there is much thundering around upstairs and playing with new toys. They are an absolute delight and healing our loss of our beautiful Penfold. I will send photos soon but just wanted to give you a quick update. ( as I’m typing, Spook is settling down asleep on a squished cardboard multi box of Walkers crisps in the kitchen, god knows why I don’t learn and still bought them a soft new bed). Jo

Freddie & Ellie

2025-02-27T14:59:04+00:00

Hi, Freddie and Ellie are settling in well. They have had their second injection today.  The vet has advised to have their teeth cleaned especially Eddie. Attached is a pic of Freddie stopping Lisa from working. Will try to get a good pic of both of them together. They both spent most of the day in the conservatory as the sun was out.

Dolly (Formerly Sky)

2025-01-12T15:43:09+00:00

Hi all, I’ve been meaning to give you an update on our beautiful Dolls for well over a year now. Saddest news, she was pts in August 2023. We all still miss her so much, it’s difficult even now to write this about her. She was diagnosed with advanced chronic heart condition 16 months before she died. So unfair for such a lovely dog with a hard start in life! Poor little girl. Fortunately we had managed to get insurance who paid everything - our Dolls had her own Cardiologist Vet at Willows in Solihull. He was amazing, he loved her and was so kind with her. Bless her, she ended up with one of those sectioned Tupperware pill box things because she had a lot of drugs that had to be given at specific times of the day. She

Shadow

2025-01-12T15:38:55+00:00

Six years ago today we welcomed Shadow into our lives. She was such a timid little soul, who was so anxious. Over the years she has matured into an adorable  contented puss who loves playing and demands cuddles constantly. She is so affectionate, loves snuggling in her fleece and rarely leaves my side. I bless the day I found her  and will always be grateful for your care, before she found her forever home. Pat

Scamp

2025-01-12T15:36:49+00:00

Hi there Just want to thank you all for letting us adopt Scamp. After being not so sure about him getting on with our chihuahua, Buster, they are getting on great. Scamp loves his walks, playing ball and most of all, cuddles. Only had a couple of accidents the first couple of days while he found his feet, which was to be expected. He’s already become a much loved member of our little family.
