Hi, I just wanted to give you a little update on Maggie, now Dahlia. Dahlias symbolise resilience, inner strength and positive change, emerging stronger from challenges and the courage to embrace new paths. It also symbolises lasting bonds and devotion. She is everything that her name symbolises! She has settled in lovely, she absolutely adores a cuddle and fluffy blanket on the sofa. I have found a field that I have been able to let her off in, she has a great recall and comes straight back when shouted. We’ve combatted the pulling a lot, along paths and roads she walks with a loose lead but once we get towards the field she gets rather excited which needs working on. She is so great at listening and wanting to learn, which is super exciting, I can’t wait to see what she can do! The cats have come around, the older one will curl up on the sofa with us, the younger one is still a little hesitant. Dahlia just lays and lets them investigate, she’s not bothered by them at all, which is great. We have discovered she LOVES watching tv, specifically SpongeBob SquarePants! She has slotted in with our little family absolutely perfectly, she’s everything we could have wanted and needed. Her constant licks and cuddles with us both reassures me that we are what she wanted and needed too. I have about 300 photos of her but I have attached my favourite!
