It was a year ago on the 4th August since we brought Jessie home so
thought you would like to know how she is getting on.  Jessie is a very
much loved member of our family and adored by all from our children to
great grandchildren and in return is completely devoted to us and never
happier than when she is with us from riding in the car, to walks, to
when we eat out (the remark was made to me when on holiday last week as
to how well-behaved she was lying quietly under the table). Having said
that, Jessie has certainly blossomed from the quite shy little girl we
brought home to a dog who is fiercely protective of her home and her
garden, heaven help any birds or squirrels who just happen to pop in and
we certainly know about it when the door bell rings!  We have just
returned from holiday with her where she loved being on the beach and in
particular having a paddle in the sea, jumping and spinning round in the
water.  Jessie is such an affectionate dog, enjoys playing with me and
likes nothing better than a cuddle and tummy rub on the sofa (although
her food comes a very close second!) and we are looking forward to many
more happy years with her.
