Hello, we thought you might appreciate an update of how Kammy (Sonny, ginger & white) and Lorimer (Jim, grey tabby & white) are getting on now that they’ve been with us for 3 weeks.
Kammy is settling in really well and definitely thinks he’s the boss and he’s probably right ? Lorimer is taking a little longer to get used to us. Both are eating well, using their litter tray, playing and sleeping as expected.  Whilst Kammy thoroughly enjoys a lot of fuss, Lorimer is yet to let us stroke him.  We’re taking things at his pace and hope he’ll allow a little more contact in the coming weeks. Despite this he seems happy and content.
We have had to restrict their access in the house whilst they settle a bit more due to a slight transgression which resulted in an emergency trip to the local laundry and Dunelm to buy new duvets. Not ideal in a lockdown!! One of them, we suspect Kammy, pee’d on 2 beds!! He was forgiven immediately of course but we’ll open the house up more gradually to them over the next few months.
They’ve been to the vets today for the second part of their vaccination.  We took them to our own vet at Chine House as we wanted to introduce them to the practice at the earliest opportunity.  The vet said they are both very healthy.  Kammy still has 2 kitten teeth so the vet will check in a few weeks, when we take them to be neutered, that they have come out otherwise they may have to be removed whilst he’s anaesthetised.
We’re so glad we’ve been able to give them a home together as they have a lovely relationship and are great company for each other.
