Dear animal rescue, We adopted Gigi (short for Georgianna, formerly Yazi) in the summer last year. She seems to have settled in well, she's playful, she likes sleeping on the beds upstairs and sitting on our laps in the evening. She has a cute habit that makes us smile: she looks at you, falls sideways, rolls onto her back, curls her paws and spends a rather a long time in that position looking quite relaxed! She is more vocal then when we first adopted her and often meows as if to say hello when she sees us around the house. We really appreciate the care you give the rescue animals and we are very grateful to have Gigi as member of our family. Please find attached some photos. Take care Ian

We’ve been meaning to send photos sooner but here are a few snaps of our three cats adopted from you - Winnie & Ducie from December this year, and Philip (now Shincyn) from December last year. Hi All I thought a little update re Scampi was due..... Turned a corner in us being able to leave her. Although, still not by the front door! I use our bedroom door and she remains calm and rested. Still working on the front door and getting ready to leave the house drama classes, to reduce her anxiety's about being left! She's such a gorgeous girl, enjoying her walks and odd play sessions with the group of dogs we occasionally meet. Not 100% with all pooches. She's a fussy girl! I have an additional shadow that's for sure. The free behaviour call with WoodGreen Animal Shelter was really helpful and their advice was 'no more' changes or daycare for now. Dog walker is now  stopped, as this was a trigger, and we've rearranged our hours of work so, it's manageable.

Hi guys! Wanted to drop you an email to say Sully has settled in amazingly. He’s is super happy and a bundle of energy. Potty trained and can sit, paw and spin :) Very loved - can’t imagine our home without him. Best, Isabella

We can’t believe it’s only been 2 weeks since Loki became part of our family!!! From Day 1 he has settled beautifully and it feels like he has always been here 💙. Loki sleeps happily in his crate at night and ( for the most part) is asking to go out to toilet or using his puppy pads. He loves playing with his toys and snuggling up next to us on the sofa in the evenings. Thankyou so much for allowing Loki to come and live with us. We all love him very much 💙. The Gibsons. X

Hi Just to let you know Luca is pretty well settled in his new home now. He loves his toys and likes nothing better than cuddles with his family and snoozing on the sofa in the evenings. We’re working hard on lead training and he’s much better with this now (except when there’s a bird to chase 🤣). He also really enjoys going out for a run along the towpaths, we’ve even been able to go off lead as his recall is getting better and better. He’s still a little nervous of strangers but is growing in confidence every day. As we wanted to make sure we understood his behavioural traits, we had his DNA tested - turns out he’s 1/4 German shepherd, American pitbull and Border collie, with a little bit of Labrador and Spaniel thrown in for good
