Chico (Lulu’s kitten)

2024-06-13T08:44:31+01:00

Hi Everything has gone well so far. Chico seems to have settled in quite well at the moment. He's a very cuddly boy, has feel asleep on my shoulder and seems to like sitting in the dogs water. Both Pancho and Chico are a bit wary of each other to be expected as it's only been a few hours. Chico is here to stay, he's a special little cat. Kind regards Lorraine

Ozzy

2024-06-11T14:43:00+01:00

Hello again  I know it has been a while since we updated you about Ozzy. He is fully settled with us now and has mellowed quite a bit in the last 9 months. He is a fantastic addition to our family and we have been able take away on a week long holiday in Cornwall as well as short breaks to Dorset, Somerset and Norfolk. He loves his walks and will regularly walk up to 10 miles a day. Enjoy the pics. Yours sincerely  Mark & Tracy

Charlie (Formerly Tye)

2024-05-05T14:15:36+01:00

Hi, following my telephone conversation this afternoon (Monday) this is just a to confirm to yourselves the very sad loss of our lovely dog  Charlie after 10 years of cherished love from him. Helen had spotted him on your website and always said she knew he would be ours even though we were told he was being visited by someone with their dog to see if they would be ok together. Helen called later that day to be told it was her lucky day as the two dogs didn't seem to gel! We came to see Charlie who,10 years ago was called Tye at the time he was with you. I remember us taking him outside and this straggly dog racing to the exit gate straightaway, of course it was closed but he wanted out! Arrangements were made and subject

Summer

2024-05-05T14:03:22+01:00

Hello all at Leicester Animal Rescue. A little late, but as promised, attached are some photos of Summer, who came to live with me last September. Although she was nervous at first, she soon settled in and has made herself right at home and is now definitely in charge. She is very affectionate and loves having a fuss. Andy and Summer

Belle has settled in really well. She is a very sociable little girl and is friendly with all dogs and people. She is pictured down the pub with her boyfriend Ted, and after a make-over at the groomers looking gorgeous

Winston

2024-04-20T10:06:09+01:00

Good morning Just to let you know that Winston remains happy and affectionate. The weekend with our grandchildren went well. On the whole we did keep them playing in different parts of the house to be safe but of course they did get together (very closely supervised ) and Winston was  calm with them. There have been no further signs of foot biting thank goodness. Winston is polite out on walks when he meets other humans and has not shown any real reactivity with passing dogs.  We distract him with cheese and so hopefully we are training him to ignore dogs that bark at him. His toilet training is going well and if the door is open he usually takes himself out.  With our vigilance we’ve had very few wees indoors recently. He is a lovely companion.  I’ve had a

Zeus & Odin

2024-04-20T09:56:05+01:00

Hello, I thought you might like an update on Zeus and Odin after a week in their new home. They hid in our dining room for the first day but it as soon as they realised we bring food that made us their friends. They love the view from our windows across the fields and are slowly starting to explore the house. They have now made it clear that my work is no where near as important as making a fuss of them (see photo evidence). The jealousy is real, they have shifts for fuss and attention.
