Hello all, We just wanted to write and give you and update on Tinkerbelle and Spartan who we adopted from you last month. After spending the first week or so hiding behind the sofa, they are now both settling in really well and are getting into the swing of things here. Spartan (who we have decided to rename Pumpkin) has really found her feet and is already strutting around putting the dogs in their place. She’s definitely starting to show her feisty side, but she more than makes up for it with how loving and friendly she is. Tinkerbelle is certainly a much quieter personality, but is getting the hang of coming upstairs to bed for cuddles. Having spoken to a vet, we suspect she has had a flare up of cystitis but she seems to be getting a lot

Hello to everyone at Leicester Animal Rescue, We adopted the magnificent Rigsby (was Samson) two weeks ago today and thought you might like to see some pictures of him in his new home - he has been a very good boy. Please find attached a few photos. Hope you are all keeping safe and well. Many thanks and kind regards, Kerrie

Good afternoon. It has been 1 week since Roma allowed us to take her home. In that time she has settled in really well, jumping on the bed and spending quite a while in the garden enjoying the sunshine. She has started wagging her tail more and more and a lot less 'skitty' She has been on a few walks, but pulls quite a bit on the lead, I think it will take several weeks to train her properly. She is very loving and a great addition to our family. I have tried to attach some photos . We would like to thank you all for the great work you all do and hope you are coping during these difficult times. Regards Jo, Ian and family

Hi all, Just a quick update from Luka , nearly 6 months in, hope you are all safe and keeping well during these difficult times. Luka continues to love life and is thriving, seems like he's always been part of our lives. He is enjoying the lovely weather and he's proving to be a great fly catcher , I think he sees them as toys to chase ! He looks forward to his daily walks, especially now the ground is drier and he can run free in the fields, which at the moment are deserted. I have attached a couple of recent pictures so you can see how happy and healthy he is, Bye for now Karen and Luka

Hi Just wanted to thank you for letting me adopted Twiggy. She is a lovely cat so friendly and after spending the morning yesterday under my bed is now following me wherever I go she is such good company and is making herself at home. She is going to be very good for my wellbeing at this time. Many, many thanks Anne

Hi, Please see attached photos of Bella. Bella is settling in well. Having jumped onto the sofa for a snooze as soon as she arrived in her new home, she has since tried just about every chair in the house, including some that are really not designed for such a large dog!  The sofa remains her favourite, although she also likes the armchair by the living room window where she can stand sentry and bark at any strangers who have the audacity to walk past her front gate.  She is enjoying her walks, and with a bit of training now behaves far better when she encounters other dogs. We love having her and can’t believe how quickly she’s established herself as part of the family. Her looks, friendly welcome and affectionate personality have endeared her to everyone who has met

Hi, My new home is amazing and I am given so much love and hugs. My owners take me out every day for long walks and sometimes I even go to work with them. I am on some tasty food and my tummy has settled plus I don’t get so angry at other dogs anymore. I have 2 boys to play with who give me treats lots when I do a trick and I sleep on the settee even though I have a lovely bed. I even get tucked up in a blanket. I am very happy and settled. Mummy and daddy are taking me on holiday soon for new walks and to the beach so I can run along the sand. I miss you all and I love you lots for saving me. Max x

I have spent the afternoon under a chair, having a bit of a think and trying to work out what on earth is going on. Then I heard the wonderful sound of a food packet being opened and whoosh! Straight into the kitchen for a nosh.  Such a relief to get my dinner at my usual time, I had been worried about that. We are now on the sofa, or rather, my new mum is sat on the sofa and I'm lying just behind her head, deafening her with my purrs. Will let you know how things go. Love Cleo xxxxx

Hi there, Thought I would send you some photos to show how well Storm has settled in, after just a week of being in his new forever home. There's nothing he loves more than snuggles on the sofa, unless something has caught his attention then he is straight to window! The arm chair is his favourite look out spot. He also loves laying in front of the fire when it's on and stares at the flames - he gets hypnotised by it! Storm is very well behaved and knows commands. When we are eating he either lies down or goes to his bed and knows to wait until we have finished. When it's bed time, we let him have a little good night cuddle and then he's very happy to go to his own bed. He stays there all night!

Hi, Just thought I'd let you know how Keira, or Eira has she's now called is getting on with us. Why Eira? There's already a Keira in the family, one of my brother's dogs, so we thought she needed a new name, I didn't want to change it too much so did some digging around for names that sounded like Keira and found Eira which turns out to be the Welsh word for snow! That was enough for us as our other dog is called Blizzard! We had a bit of a rocky start with 3 fights in the first day and a half. The fights sounded quite nasty but I was there to break them up before anything bad happened (except for the bruised hands I got in the process). Since then the two dogs have been getting along
