Good morning Just to let you know that Winston remains happy and affectionate. The weekend with our grandchildren went well. On the whole we did keep them playing in different parts of the house to be safe but of course they did get together (very closely supervised ) and Winston was  calm with them. There have been no further signs of foot biting thank goodness. Winston is polite out on walks when he meets other humans and has not shown any real reactivity with passing dogs.  We distract him with cheese and so hopefully we are training him to ignore dogs that bark at him. His toilet training is going well and if the door is open he usually takes himself out.  With our vigilance we’ve had very few wees indoors recently. He is a lovely companion.  I’ve had a

Hello, I thought you might like an update on Zeus and Odin after a week in their new home. They hid in our dining room for the first day but it as soon as they realised we bring food that made us their friends. They love the view from our windows across the fields and are slowly starting to explore the house. They have now made it clear that my work is no where near as important as making a fuss of them (see photo evidence). The jealousy is real, they have shifts for fuss and attention.

Hello, Dolly has settled in with us so well she is adorable very affectionate and gets on fabulous with Brodie our other dog. No disturbed night from day 1, 2 small accidents first day, walking lovely on lead, bit of counter surfing which we're working on, likes nicking things and running off with it 😀  working on leaving her alone with Brodie 5 minutes at a time all in all everything is going great she's definitely a keeper!!

Well Winston has settled in as if he has always lived here. Not a a peep through the night Not much evidence of being housetrained so we have gone back to basics and have spent many an hour in the garden.  He is dry overnight in the crate which is great.  We took him out at 5 am on the first morning and left it til 6 today.  Tomorrow we will try 6.30.  He goes straight back in the crate until we get up without any fuss. He is affectionate and playful and I’m really pleased to say has enjoyed his walks across the fields. He is still on 3 legs at times, mainly on our gravel drive but mostly on 4 now.  We are taking him to the vet anyway on Monday so he can take a look. We’ve

Comet and nebula (as was) are both doing well and enjoying their toys and cat trees (yes, plural!) Comet is still shy but they are both happy to have a cuddle when they are in the mood! June /June-bug /juniper/queenie is doing great! She is charming everybody who meets her with her big green eyes and winning ways! She has taken to sleeping on the pillow next to me at night and likes to help me with my work in the office by sitting on my keyboard and licking my paperwork clean! (Very helpful) Everyone loves her and she loves everyone - except the kittens who are just irritating little blips to her! All the cats get on with my mum’s dog - he’s terrified of cats so he just avoids eye contact and pretends he’s not there!

Just a quick note to let you know Star and Moon have settled in very well with us and are thriving. They have become a lovely pair of cats, and are certainly the liveliest pair we’ve had! Thanks again for helping them so well when they needed it most. Best regards Ed and Dawn
