Okay, it's been a while. I've been off gallivanting again...... Boy it's hot! My cooling jacket did the job keeping me cool on my latest adventure, that they call it camping!  What, i hear you say...... I was ok once I saw my bed all set up in my new sleeping quarters.  All set up by the trees for shade for me :0). Beautiful view over the Lathkill Dale. I'm doing OK, with a couple more lumps appearing on my left side and mammory line :0(.  Not like the last nasty one, which I've been meaning to write and thank you for. As its soooo, much nicer not having it bleeding all the time and as you can see in my photo styling out my new shades I look beautiful again. Anyway, I must trot off things to do, and

Dear Leicester Animal Rescue, Just getting in touch to give you an update about Luna. We adopted her this June as a companion for our older cat Violet. She quickly settled in at her new home and loves lying around on her cat tower. Luna was also very keen to get outside and explore. It was difficult keeping her in for 4 weeks as she kept hiding behind the curtains in attempt to sneak out when we opened the door! Now she is allowed outside she is very much enjoying her freedom and independence. Her favourite place to spend her time is lying on our roof where she has a good view of everyone in the garden. Good Morning Thank you for allowing us to have Smudge. He is already very loved by us. He is adventurous and loving exploring- he keeps appearing with bits of dust on him from where he's been behind something! Must step up my cleaning regime!! We've noticed that he really likes to be with people and when only one person is in the house, he follows them. He's using his litter tray which is great. Thank you again. Sarah and Alice

*Our Journey with Loaf** After losing our beloved 15-year-old Pug, we thought we’d stay a two-pug family. Then we saw Loaf — now known as Lok (though he’ll always be Loafy to us!). We decided to give it some time, telling ourselves, *if he’s meant to be ours, he will be.* About a week later, we visited him with our other two pugs. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous — about toilet training, bonding, sleeping routines, and whether it might disrupt the calm we’d found. But, of course, I couldn’t leave him in rescue care. So home he came! The first night was a little restless, as expected. But by the third day, he’d discovered the joy of sleeping in our bed, and by the second week, he had settled perfectly into our routine. At the end of that

Hi Leicester Animal Rescue, Monty is coming on really nicely here and behaves himself beautifully at home. Outside he has taken to commands really quickly and when meeting dogs, yes we know he lunges uncontrollably to get there but it’s not how we meet dogs and slowly but surely he’s seeing loads and this is coming down. When he does get to meet there’s never been any aggression but he is full on with play so I need to be careful especially around older dogs. I’m really confident about the future and absolutely loving the present with him, thanks, Andy 👍🦮🐕🐩

Adopted Oct 2024 no history apart from names I have kept & approx 13yrs old. Settled really well except Jasper especially loves climbing on shed & garage roofs. Jerry prefers straddling 6' fence despite their ages but lovely cats

HI We thought you might like to see a few photos of Slinky and Sky enjoying their summer holiday in Norfolk. They are absolutely loving playing on the beach, and have been so good at coming back when we call them. As you can see, they have made themselves right at home in our lovely dog friendly cottage too! Adopting out two gorgeous dogs from your wonderful shelter was honestly the best decision I have made in a long time, and we will be forever grateful for the wonderful job you did of taking care of them until they came to their forever home. Hi I just wanted to give you an update on how little Shadow is getting on. She is amazing! We took her straight to her litter tray as soon as we got home so she knew where it was and has used it everytime. No accidents which is great! She was eating and drinking from day one and has been playing with all her new toys. We can't believe how quickly she has settled in. She already has her favourite spots to sleep in. She has discovered the window sills today and loves watching the world go by. She is definitely part of the family. I've attached some photos. Can I ask when we should increase the amount of wet food she is having? Shes having a quarter of a pouch 4 times a day but is now eating it

Hi all, So sorry I missed your call earlier - I tried to call back but thought I could also update you over email so we could send you some pictures. We can’t believe it’s been a week with Ruffles (now known as Ralph) - we can’t imagine life without him now! He has settled in so well to our house and we believe he already knows this is his forever home. He’s already claimed his space on our bed and sofa and he loves to cuddle up to us whenever we sit down, which makes our hearts burst! He’s been spoilt with so much love (and lots of new toys!) and we enjoy taking him on his two daily walks. Thanks again for all your help during the process, it’s one of the best decisions we could have made.
